Life of a Sales Wife

So we've been in New Mexico for the last month and gotta tell you its actually been pretty fun! Can't say that I ever thought I would come to this place made of dirt but i'm actually going to miss it a little. We've made some great friends and we have discovered Caleb's knack for sales. I have been really impressed with how he is doing and how determined he is to work and to do well. But I miss him everyday. These boys work super hard! Sheesh!

I mean....who wouldn't buy a security system from this face??

We have loved broadening our eating horizons away from the rexburg restaurants. New Mexico may be an ugly place but they do not mess around when it comes to grub.

Jason's Deli our new favorite place to eat that has unlimited free ice cream....yes I said free!

Kyle & Callie have been life savers out here, we flew out here so we don't have a car so they have been so nice to taxi us around. They have been wonderful!

Thanks to the pecks we have been able to go to the Albuquerque temple a few times. LOVE that place, there really are nice people in New Mexico..you just have to go to the temple to find them. :)

The sun is rather bright in NM.

 And we LOVE the pool at our apt complex. I spend most of my days there when Caleb is out knocking doors. 

We were so lucky to be able to fly home for one of my best friends Whitney's wedding. We were able to go to the Sealing which was so beautiful and so good to hear again. It was Caleb and I's first sealing together since ours of course and was so fun to remind us of our special day. 

And whitney looked absolutely beautiful!

The Webb family was so nice to pick us up from the airport and let us sleep at their house AND eat their food AND they even took us to the arcade where I hit the jackpot...225 tickets. It was super fun to hang out with them. Thanks Nic & Rob!

We return to the beautiful burg in 3 days and I cannot wait!

Cabin Week 09!

Well I haven't blogged about our funnest vacation of the summer! Besides the fact that Caleb had to go back and forth to school and I got a weird infection in my throat, it was still was a great week! It is the one thing my family looks forward to every year, it is our favorite place on earth and it was fun to share it with Caleb finally. 

Every night a couple is in charge of a activity and dinner. The first night we did the battle of the musicals. We had a High School musical production, a newsies/michael jackson production, and a goofy movie production. It was hilarious.

Cam and cami did a very fun luau with amazing food and we all learned and performed the Haka.

Island Park is my favorite place in the whole world!

We went up to the top of Sawtelle Mountain, it was beautiful but super windy! Caleb is afraid of heights so we didn't stay long haha.  

And my brothers think they are tight.

We also had a awesome Cafe Rio dinner by Misty & brett, a super fun video scavenger hunt around the Island by Annie & Ty (that was the highlight) Family Feud by Scott & Katie and a competitive obstacle course by Landon and SJ and lots of skiing and catching up! 

And at the end of the week we are all FATIGUED!!

She is going to kill me...
