Birthday Boy!

I think this boy knew it was his Birthday on the 27th. He was as happy as can be all day!

We went downtown for the day with all the girls.

We checked out the Jefferson Monument

Stopped by the famous D.C. cupcakes. Everyone deserves one on their Birthday. He LOVED it! I was amazed at how good they were!

We went to the Franklin D. Roosevelt monument

I just love this boy. He makes us SO happy.

He seems so much older than he is. He has such a fun sense of humor. Always keeps us laughing. Next post will be his Fiesta birthday party!

We made it to DC!

I stayed with Jordan and he took me to the Airport last Monday.
Reid was a champ on the Plane. I was really worried about it since he is so mobile. He was asleep almost the entire first flight. Tiara flew with me which I was thrilled about and we were able to sit by each other the whole time and have an extra seat by us. Keaton did so good!

Reid thought it was pretty cool!

He was so exhausted by the end. So we landed in Dulles which is 10 minutes from our apartments. Caleb said he was there and we were searching all over for him and jokingly I said, "Are you even at the right airport?" He said, "Yeah BWI!" Um....no! He drove an hour and a 1/2 away to the Baltimore airport haha! So my brother Brett came to the rescue and got us while caleb drove home.
We are loving it here! Beautiful weather, great company, and a happy boy!

 Reid loves Keaton!
The boys watch sports any chance they get!

On Sunday Sister Oaks was at our ward visiting their daughter Jenny Oaks Baker that is in our ward! I was star struck haha She was so nice, we got to chat with her a bit. Caleb was embarrassed because he forgot his church shoes and was wearing black Nike high tops...haha!
We've started the sunday night game nights, my favorite part of summer sales!

The day Reid ate poop

Reid LOVES to be outside....so much that he thinks everything on the ground it edible. I was chatting with our neighbors, the Calls, when we noticed their little girl was talking to him and we were wondering what she was saying so we walked on over only to find Reid holding a piece of dog doo. Now as you can imagine I was grossed out grabbed it and tossed it. Then I noticed something was going on in the mouth. I squeezed his little cheeks....and yes my worst nightmare....poo was dissolving in the poor, innocent boys mouth. What I don't understand is he was mad at me for taking it out...now that can't taste even the least bit good!

Let's just say I now take the necessary precautions of letting my 11 month old baby play outside.

And his little boy is flirting with walking! Exciting and at the same time I want to push him down. :)

Reid's first Easter

Reid was a huge fan of Easter. I think the bunny got a little carried away with the balls...but hey he's obsessed!

He just lit up when he saw the toothbrush!
haha!

My handsome little guy

We went to blackfoot and had a delicious dinner! Then spent the evening outside. It was so nice! We played whiffle ball.

Then my parents did an Easter hunt for the kids and then broke the news that she planned one for the Adults. We haven't been that giddy since grade school! It was so much fun! We were racing to find the eggs that were light...only to find that there were cash in quite a few of them! I landed 36 bones!

It feels good to be a kid again. Then we had a lesson to bring us back to the real reason we celebrate Easter. I'm so grateful for my Savior and his atoning sacrifice.

Happy Easter!
