My brother and his wife took a trip to DisneyWorld (not fair) for a week and we had their 2 boys for the week. Do we look capable of this?
Lots of football took place.
And lots of beat downs took place.
Things we aren't used to:
1. Children waking you up in the night because "I gotta go poop."
2. Not using the word "mean" because I will get my mouth washed out with soap.
3. Taking 2 boys to a halloween carnival in costumes that are too small for them. (wish I had a picture)
4. Kids wanting EVERYTHING they see at the store.
5. Homework with a Kindergartner.(Wish mine was that easy)
6. 8 o'clock bedtimes (Why do they hate it so bad?)
7. Having to explain everything....so curious.
8. Brushing someone else's teeth.
9. 5 and 6 is a sensitive age
10. Hearing noises in the night because of paranoia.
11. Laying the smack down!
We will have kids soon? Maybe maybe not
It's definitely different going from the cool aunt and uncle to "Don't do that! You can't have that! Eat all your dinner!" But we really did love having them, and Kobe still says
"Kelsi...your my bestest aunt!"
Love it.
P.S. Did you know I worked at Disneyworld?
haha still can't believe I did that.
