Mt. Vernon

Yesterday I went to Mt. Vernon with Rex & Konda and Christina. It has got to be one of my favorite things here! I sure wish I would have listened more in middle school. I feel so dumb being in D.C. and not knowing my history. BUT I have a greater appreciation for George Washington and the wonderful man and president he was. His estate is beautiful!

How would it be to wake up to the view everyday!?

I took a picture of this glass door because reid ran right into it...I tried so hard not to laugh but it was hilarious!
We made sure we hit up a 7/11 for free slurpee day!
It was great to spend some time with them!!

Our 4th of July

It was a hot one here in D.C. on the 4th. We had an office BBQ at the pool. The boys got to get done knocking early which is always a bonus. We had delicious patriotic food.

Reid had 10 pieces of watermelon
We decided not to take on the downtown D.C. 4th. Seemed like a lot of work so we hit up the Fairfax firework show...and it wasn't much better than Blackfoots :)

It was a good 4th none the less!!

D.C. Baby Music Video!

I have wanted to make a music video about the life of a summer sales wife for a couple of years but could never find a song that would work for it. Some of us wives were really hyper one night and decided to make up some lyrics to the famous "call me maybe" song that we've been obsessed with. All it took was one night of hyperactivity to make up the song. Then we started to record on garageband. I had never used it before but played around with it and figured it out. Callie peck is the main voice and the rest of us are in the background. Wyatt Sutton graciously made up a rap at the end of it representing the boys. He did awesome! It has been so fun to make! We've spent the last month recording whenever possible and documenting our crazy summer! You may not get some of the humor but if you have ever been a summer sales wife you will understand! Enjoy!

Virginia Beach

We got to spend a couple days in Virginia Beach and it was heavenly!! We went with Brett and Misty and we stayed right on the Beach.

 Reid loved the view too!

 On the Boardwalk.

I have sure missed laying out. Reid loved the sand so much I didn't even have to worry about him taking off. Can I get a sand pit at the pool please!?

That is a true beach bum!

The hotel had a pool on top of it over looking the ocean. Pretty cool if you ask me!
We had a great time with Brett and Misty. Can't wait to go back there!
