We're goin' to Schlitterbahn

If you live in Texas...you may be familiar with the schlitterbahn commercial that is on ALL the time :) I have the whole song memorized. And for those of you who are wondering what it even is, it's a waterpark :) a very large one! There was an incentive for the boys if they got more sales than a different office and they won so we got to go to schlitterbahn for the day. 

We had a Reid all geared up for the day in the sun. It was 105 degrees!

I love how people react to little babies like they have never seen one before :) People are way more nice to you if you have a baby ha.

Thanks caitie for reid's little swimsuit. It's so cute. :)

And thanks to the Bedke's who also have a little baby and took turns baby watching so we could go on some rides together :)

Try saying Schlitterbahn. It's fun to say.

Seaworld

We love Seaworld. 

Most of the wives out here got season passes so we can go whenever we please.

I guess Reid doesn't think that the Shamu show is that cool.

But I get goosebumps EVERYtime. I could watch it over and over.

Good thing his ticket is free :)

This is Reid and Jaden. Jaden is Brooke Bedke's little boy is a week older than Reid.

He really enjoyed the rides as well.

I was able to go on some rides too thanks to the other nice wives taking turns watching babies.

First Father's Day

I love holidays like today. I think it is so great that we have a day dedicated to our Father's, to make them feel special, and loved...because they are. 

And for them to reflect on how great it is to be a Dad. 

I have spent so much time imagining Caleb as a Father and now that time is here and I couldn't be happier. It has created a whole other side of him for me to love. He is all I imagined and more. He has taken on the role with ease and with just a little added stress i'm sure. (with all the time spent on google to make sure baby is okay and normal) :) I sure love his paranoia. He has the brain of a doctor now with all the reading he has done. :) Nothing beats seeing the way he looks at our little boy. He loves him perfectly.

I loved watching the primary children sing to their father's in sacrament meeting today and after they were done they would hurry to go hug their dad. I can't wait for caleb to experience that. For now I think he is good with the sleeping snuggles. 

Happy Father's Day to a first time Daddy! I Love You!

Can't leave out my dad! He has taught me by his silent example. To be kind, to love, to serve, and to be happy. He has the best sense of humor, maybe you have heard one of his jokes :). I have never seen him anrgy, I have never heard him argue, he is happy ALL the time. Which makes him a pleasure to be around. I love him.

My little boy is getting so big!

Reid started smiling at 4 1/2 weeks but now he is smiling at our very presence.
