We are on the road again. And guess what was right on the way....Nauvoo! I have been wanting to go there forever. It was all I expected and more.
A few of us left early saturday morning so that we could make it to the last session at the temple. It was just a wonderful experience that I will never forget. We were greeted by the temple president who gave us a tour of the whole temple! It was so cool.

The next morning we went and saw the rest of the sights before we had to get on the road again. First, we went to the Joseph Smith memorial. It just so happened to be June 27th, the anniversary of his death. Which made it that much more special.
I was loving the Mississippi river.
The trail of Hope. I couldn't help but think of those that lived here. Reading their last words here in Nauvoo. They had so much faith and hope for the future.
The is the so called missionary training center.
The Smith Mansion.
We were able to go to carthage jail on our way out as well. That was the highlight of the trip.
