I have been dreading blogging about the cabin for 2 reasons:
1-words and pictures can't describe the week and I have WAY too many pics.
2- I am still depressed that I am not there right now.
BUT none the less I will do my best!
The days were spent on the water full-time: skiing, laying out, dock dancing, card games, etc.
I am attached to this little girl. I was surprised that she remembered me. I loved the "mommy feel" having someone love you and always want you to hold them. I don't think I could ever get sick of that.
As hard as it is to be away from home, it is fun to be missed. At one point I layed down on my bed and I had 10 little heads above me all saying Kelsi Kelsi guess what!? So cuuuute.
We also took family pics while we were up there:this was a joke btw. Have you ever taken a family pic with 18 kids?? It's....interesting
Every night we stayed up to the wee hours playing "crap on your neighbor" an addictive card game everyone needs to learn. To make it more fun we make consequences for the losers: for example; walking the "rocky road" in the bare feet, eating 3 cupcakes, serving the winners with ice cream and chips and cheese, riding around the island on the 4-wheeler in the pitch dark, and jumping in the lake at 2 am. Might I add I won almost every game! :)
Brett and Misty put on "Minute to win it" It was a hit!
This was my group for the legendary "video scavenger hunt" put on by the tanners. Our group won most entertaining....but I don't know that you would want to see the videos. You may view our family VERY differently! But is was OH so fun and OH so funny! It is amazing what you will do on video in front of only your family.
The rest of the week consumed of Family Fued, an ultimate birthday party, delicious meals, camp fires, spiritual thoughts, the "HOT seat", lots of laughter, and the filming of our JUMP music video.
If you haven't seen the Kesler music video..please feel free to check it out below.
You'd think going to Island park year after year would get old...but it only gets better and better with age! Can't wait for next year!
So... My name is Jenna. I went to school with Caleb. Saw your blog on a few of my friends. I LOVED your post.... it looks like a total blast! Might I say... you are gorgeous, you and Caleb look stunning together and I can tell that you have endless moments of laughter and good times!
