Yesterday I went to Mt. Vernon with Rex & Konda and Christina. It has got to be one of my favorite things here! I sure wish I would have listened more in middle school. I feel so dumb being in D.C. and not knowing my history. BUT I have a greater appreciation for George Washington and the wonderful man and president he was. His estate is beautiful!

We made sure we hit up a 7/11 for free slurpee day!
It was great to spend some time with them!!
Kelsi!! OH my goodness you look like you are having sooo much fun... I"m pretty jealous! I wish you would have been in DC when Burke and I went in November and we could have partied together. I am terrible at history, but learned a lot there and loved it! Mt. Vernon was my favorite! I just love reading your blog, take care my dear!
